About

Welcome!

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A MUSICIAN?

It takes Heart, Soul,  Chops,  Drive,  Passion,  Dreams,  Drive,  Feel,  and Mojo.

But most of all it takes TALENT … lots of talent. The amazing players who created the music on this site have an abundance of talent and this project is meant to memorialize their work and the blood sweat and tears that went into the making of these songs .

Now … Cleveland has always been a hotbed of musical talent and the bands in this site are by no means the only bands that made contributions to the city’s rich rock history. But these groups represent a microcosm of Cleveland music in the 60’s and 70’s.

With that said, I salute all of the crazed fans who made our town an important market in the national music business. And I thank the hundreds of talented musicians who brought the magic to the fans over the years.
